Preschoolers Express Gratitude with Actions at Graduation Ceremony

This year, for the first time since the establishment of Tzu Chi Great Love PreSchool, children from two branches were able to graduate together. Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the 8th Graduation Ceremony was still held online. However, this did not stop the 38 graduates from expressing their gratitude to their parents and teachers.

Every segment is closely coordinated. Under the pandemic situation, preschool children from different classes cannot perform together. A few months ago, they redistributed their role at the last minute and re-learned their steps. They were not afraid of the difficulties and wanted to thank their parents through their performances.

Preschool teacher, Gan Wen Shan:Very thankful for their cooperation. (When) we were going to perform again, they said, okay, I can do it. They put in a lot of effort to present their best during the preparation process.

The 8th Preschool Graduation Ceremony held this year combined three classes of children from two branches, the first since the establishment of the school.

Due to the pandemic, parents could only watch the ceremony through a live broadcast, but the impact of humanistic education by the Great Love PreSchool on their children has long been experienced by parents.

Parents,Goh Poh Sin & Bong Zhao Yuin:(Her) behavior has really changed. When a family member is sick, she will pay special attention to the sick family member, "Are you feeling better? Did you take medicine?” She was just like a little nurse or medical angel.

Parent,Ong Huey Shiow:(On seeing people) They will greet them. In the morning they will say, "Hello, morning, auntie, hello". These are what I think he learned in preschool. (He) knows how to be filial to his parents, or respect his teachers. I think these are behaviors that everyone in society should have.

Preschool graduates: I am grateful to the teachers for their love and patience in accompanying us as we grow up.

38 preschool graduates are about to embark on a new milestone in their lives, may this humanistic spirit continue to take root in their growing up years.
