Passing on Experience with Love at the Four-in-One Cadres Camp

2022 is the year when new volunteer cadres take office. Tzu Chi Singapore held a two-day Four-in-One Cadres Camp to allow cadres to pass on their experience to each other. Although the local pandemic situation has escalated, resulting in temporary changes to the class venues, it has not prevented the nearly 400 volunteer cadres from communicating and learning from one another.

We must have a heart with deep compassion.

Make diligence a living habit.

Effective communication is necessary for mutual understanding.

The two-day Four-in-One Cadres Camp, combined with the rich experiences of lecturers at home and abroad, allowed the nearly 400 volunteer cadres who participated to communicate with each other and shoulder the joys and challenges faced on the path together.

Hsu Tun Ying, Cadre camp coordinator: How can we keep close to one another when there is no way to meet in person in the current pandemic era? This is also the challenge faced by the team leaders.

The design of the course is specially tailored to meet the challenges of community operations, and the relevant content will significantly benefit participants.

Ong Lee Lee, Deputy team lead: They shared their experiences and how they interacted during networking sessions. For our new (volunteer cadres), we can also include some (similar concepts).

Yong Puay Woon, Deputy team lead: (In the process of undertaking) I was hurt before, but I have never figured out why. After (taking) this course, I learned what kindness is. Do what you want to do, for that matter, but don't remain in that matter all the time.

In the process of accompanying her, it is not only about caring for her but also learning about the carefree mentality among the elderly.

Tzu Chi is like a big family; everyone comes together to do good deeds. The company and support of each other make the road of giving much warmer.

Foo See Pock, Deputy team lead: When I used to be a team leader for the Joint Effort group, I also had support from my team leaders. From this experience, I feel that if the team leader encounters a problem, even if he doesn't report it, we can take the initiative to help them.

With sincerity and affection, everyone with the same understanding can bring about kindness and love for society.
